Middle School: Global Read Aloud Author, Padma Venkatraman visits Highlands!

Padma Venkatraman, author of The Bridge Home, and this year's Global Read Aloud nominee, spoke with middle school about her work as an author and humanitarian. Presenting in the LRC, she spent the day speaking to students and having lunch with a group of students participating in the Global Read Aloud program.


Dr. Venkatraman spent the day talking about her background, her path to becoming an author, and worked on writing about what 'home' means with 6th grade students.
