District 106 Used Technology Sale: July 18
The District Technology Sale will be held on Friday, July 18th, at the Administrative Entrance, 1750 W. Plainfield Road, La Grange, IL 60525.

District 106 will sell used iPads, projectors, Apple TVs, and other electronic items on Friday, July 18th, 2025.
General Sale Info
- The sale will open to all district residents at 8:00 a.m. (Proof of residency is required.)
- The sale will open to the general public when no residents remain in line to purchase items.
- Either cash or credit card will be accepted as a form of payment. (No checks.)
- There is a limit of one of each type of item (desktop, projector, etc) per household.
- During the public sale, those who wish to purchase more than one item may return to the end of the line to make an additional purchase.
- All equipment will be sold as-is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once it leaves our doors, it is non-returnable, and no refunds will be given.
- No warranty of any kind for equipment or batteries is offered or implied.
- Once sold out, a notice will be posted on the district website.

Author visit with Lindsay Currie
Thanks to our generous District 106 Eduction Foundation, author Lindsay Currie spent the day with Highlands students in grades 4-8. Not only did students learn about her books and her writing process, we got a taste of Chicago history and learned the valuable lesson of being present and always staying curious. When Lindsay wasn't presenting to our students, she was busy hand delivering autographed books, visiting classrooms, hanging out in the LRC and even had lunch with a few of our students.

2025-2026 Student Registration
Registration for the 2025-26 School Year is now open.
UIC Band Festival a success!
The Wind Ensemble had a great trip to the UIC band festival on Friday 3/14. They performed well and had a great clinic with the band director from DePaul. We made some great memories and the kids made us proud in not just how they played, but how they behaved and treated others. Thanks to the Educational Foundation for sponsoring such an awesome opportunity!
2025 - 2026 Kindergarten Registration
Our Kindergarten registration will be from the end of March through early April. Families registering their incoming kindergarteners must still register in person. Our in-person registration days are March 24 - 28 and April 7 - 11. Click the SignUp Genius button below to reserve your registration time.
