Middle School: 6th Grade Abilities Day
Published by Ms. Luetkehans on May 28, 2022

On May 26th, the 6th graders were able to learn about differently abled persons.  The event was Abilities Awareness Day, hosted by the South East Association of Special Parks and Recreation (SEASPAR).  Students were able to learn about physical, cognitive, visual, and deaf and/or hard of hearing.  Students were able to learn through various activities how we are more alike than we are different.  Abilities Day was a great morning of learning and gaining understanding of others!
